Hair Happens is a one-person hair studio focused on precision cuts and intentional styling. The client wanted a visual identity that felt elevated yet personal — something that could speak to both editorial collaborators and private clients without relying on trend-driven aesthetics. I designed a custom wordmark and a minimal visual language that balances softness with clarity. Typography plays a central role: I paired a refined serif with a structured sans to reflect the duality of creative expression and technical skill. The website was designed to be clean and intuitive, with a strong editorial rhythm — soft gradients, generous spacing, and a muted palette support a calm, polished user experience. The layout prioritizes booking flow and contact access, while still offering space to showcase portfolio imagery in a quiet, confident way. The result is a brand presence that doesn’t try too hard — but lingers. Subtle, cohesive, and grounded in the client’s approach to hair as a collaborative, crafted process.
